</p><p>* Put the oil in the pan and warm it.<br>
* Add the chickpeas first and fry them until they start to change colour -- they'll look a bit drier and a little more golden.<br>
* Dice the onion and apple.<br>
* Add those next and cook until the onions are a bit translucent and the chickpeas start to get brown on the bottom.<br>
* Add the honey and mix it in with the oil left at the bottom of the pan, to make a sauce.<br>
* Add the spices.<br>
* Cook for about another two minutes and sprinkle with vinegar when serving.</p>
<p>You can also use apple & onion pickle for this, instead of fresh diced.</p>
<p>Goes well with flatbread, rice, or couscous.
