Pour ~½ cm oil into a pan, and turn it all the way up. This shit needs to get really hot, so do that first. Cut the crusts off the bread, then roll each slice as flat as you can get it with a rolling pin or a soup can. Put cheese and peppers/onions on one slice. Dip the other slice in egg (substitute) around the edges and put it on top. Squish the edges of the two slices together with a fork. Dip the whole bloody thing in egg (substitute) and then in breadcrumbs. Fry it until the edges get golden brown, then flip it and cook the other side the same.
