* Put the oil in the pan and warm it.
* Add the chickpeas first and fry them until they start to change colour -- they'll look a bit drier and a little more golden.
* Dice the onion and apple.
* Add those next and cook until the onions are a bit translucent and the chickpeas start to get brown on the bottom.
* Add the honey and mix it in with the oil left at the bottom of the pan, to make a sauce.
* Add the spices.
* Cook for about another two minutes and sprinkle with vinegar when serving.
You can also use apple & onion pickle for this, instead of fresh diced.
Goes well with flatbread, rice, or couscous.
