Overview

The highest concentration of Gnomes in Golgotha is, oddly enough, in the Deadtree Barony, just north of both Midian and Starbright, and just south of the Blue Tower. This provides ample material for alchemical experimentation, as well as a sufficiently accepting set of neighbours for steam-powered oddities.

Gnomish Specialties

Gnomes, like Dwarves, are very clannish. Some of their specialties do not spread outside the Gnomish community; others can only be created by Gnomes, but are widespread in their use.

Magic Items

Alphorn of Thunder[1]
While Dwarves have also discovered the secret of the Alphorn of Thunder, they couldn't really be bothered to take up manufacture and distribution. All Alphorns of Thunder currently in circulation were made by Gnomish bards.

Boots of Mountaineering[1]
These boots have been very useful to Gnomish gem-collectors, over the centuries, and they're more than happy to share the boots with adventurers headed over the mountains to lands beyond.

Spells

Magnetic Pulse[2]
While Dwarves technically also have this spell, they only use it in the creation of Magnetic Armor, not in combat situations.
