Combat

Cats prefer to sneak up on their prey.

Projectile Vomit (Ex)

A Great Cat of Hurling may, up to three times per battle, vomit onto a target up to five feet away. The vomit should be treated as a splash weapon, with a direct hit causing the target to be Nauseated for one turn and indirect hits causing targets to be Sickened for one turn.

Hairball (Na)

When lifted, a Great Cat of Hurling is likely to eject a hairball onto its opponent, causing the opponent to be Stunned for one round. The hairball can be avoided with a DC20 Reflex save.

Skills

Cats have a +4 racial bonus on Hide* and Move Silently checks and a +8 racial bonus on Balance, Climb and Jump checks. They use their Dexterity modifier instead of their Strength modifier for Climb and Jump checks.

  • In areas of tall grass or heavy undergrowth, the Hide bonus rises to +8.
